A temporary residence permits due to other circumstances, including in particular granted to citizens of the Republic of Turkey enjoying special rights in the field of access to the Polish labour market, is regulated in the Regulations of Chapter 11. Section V. of the Act of 12 December 2013 on Foreigners (i.e., Journal of Laws of 2024, item 769).
The substantive requirements for its granting are laid down in Articles 186(1)(5) and 189(1) of that law.
As regards the requirements, the Law on Foreigners refers directly to Decision No. 1/80 of the Association Council of the Republic of Turkey and the EEC of 19 September 1980 on the development of the Association, which was established by the Agreement establishing an Association between the European Economic Community and Turkey, signed in Ankara on 12 September 1963 (OJ L ... EC L 217, 29.12.1964, p. 3685; OJ. UE Polish Special Edition, chap. 11, vol. 11 p. 1).
The Regulations governing the granting of this permit shall apply in conjunction with the Regulations on the granting of all types of temporary residence permits laid down in Chapter 1. Section V.: General part.
