Cancellation
A document proving the right of permanent residence shall be cancelled if:
in proceedings for the issuance of a document confirming the right of permanent residence, the applicant:
- has submitted an application containing false personal data or false information or attached to it documents containing such data or information, or
- testified untruth or concealed the truth, or forged or altered a document for use as authentic or used such a document as authentic, or
serious reasons of defence or Security of the State or of the protection of security and public order so require, or
an EU citizen has acquired the right of permanent residence to circumvent the laws in force in another Member State of the European Union, a Member State of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) – a party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation governing the rules for entry into, residence and exit from the territory of the European Union.
In addition, the document confirming the right of permanent residence may be cancelled if its holder has left the territory of the Republic of Poland for a period exceeding 2 years.
